I low-key won the lottery

Hey, party people!

Has anyone ever told you something that sounds completely outrageous upfront...

And yet, you totally believe them?

A little story time for you.

My BFF has told me countless times that it's her destiny to win the lottery.

And straight up, I have faith that this will be her reality one day. I've never questioned it once.

I mean, she's putting in the work too! She buys lottery tickets on the regular and plugs along like it's going to happen. Talk about commitment, amirite?

In reflecting upon this, I realized that I've been kinda low-key envious of her knowing, or otherwise known as her intuition.

Maybe I'm not prepared to swim in loads of cash and haven a random third cousin come out of the woodwork demanding a lump sum of money?

Maybe my *big win* lottery looks a little different?! Now, hear me out...

I have always known that I'd have a career in writing (which has already taken on many lifetimes), but didn't know that I was passionate about giving people a voice.

The concept of helping people uncover their stories and strengthen their narratives *fires me up beyond belief*...... anddd so, I thought I would put that into action.

Last month, I offered free copy audits for female business owners to test out a potential new offering. Let’s call it beta-testing to make it sound fancier.

Back to feeling *fired up*….there’s something about giving business owners the resources and recommendations they need to communicate their stories in the most authentic way possible.

How did this process work?

I would copy/paste the requested audit page (which mostly turned out to be About and Sales Page) into Google Docs and provide commentary on how to strengthen the narrative.

And from what I can tell, it was super effective.

“I really felt like Grace understood my brand even though this was the first time we met. She wasn't trying to get me to change my style but instead enhance and format my page so it's easier for readers to read and skim.”

“Grace is an extremely professional copywriter. She always tries her best to put herself in your shoes when working on your copy. It's not about the grammar; it's about the feel and how it's perceived. She is honest about her thoughts on your copy, not just hyping you up for nothing.”

“I had a great experience with Grace. She was very knowledgeable, understood my message and how I wanted to convey it to my audience. Super easy to talk to, I felt heard. She offered awesome advice yet keeping in mind my authenticity in my copy. “

Long story short, I *might* offer this as my entry-level service soon. But as someone who wants to do everything, this offering makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The moral of the story is, no matter how crazy an idea might seem, I say….your jackpot might be just around the corner.

GO FOR IT, girlfriend.
